The European Paratroopers Honor Cross was presented today, Thursday, September 15th, by EPA President Giulio Festa to Hon. Marco Nonno, former Italian Army Paratrooper and member of Campania Regional Council, in recognition of his dedication to the European Paratroopers Association’s Humanitarian Aid Project EPAID FOR UKRAINE 2022. Hon. Nonno exceptional meritorious service, have significantly contributed to the effectiveness of our great organisation involved in assisting the Ukrainian population during the hardest phases of the conflict.

The awarding ceremony was held in the evocative setting of the Barons' Hall at New Castel of Naples (AKA Maschio Angioino), the impressive medieval castle that was commissioned by Charles I of Anjou in 1266. After the ceremony EPA delegation led by President Festa was welcomed by City Councilor, Giorgio Longobardi, who then acted as hosts and accompanied them on a tour of the castle.
