Qualifications

Military Parachuting Qualifications

The European Paratroopers Airborne School conducts throughout the year several basic airborne (military parachuting) training for the European Paratroopers members, giving them the unique opportunity to qualify as military SL round canopy parachutist and to earn the coveted EPA airborne jump wings, as well as conducts multiple courses in a variety of different areas to includes, but not limited to Static-Line and Free-Fall military parachuting. We are a certified training provider and have the required certifications to provide training services. EPA training services meet the military quality levels and standards. Thanks to this high standards, EPA has been recognized as an official NATO supplier (NCAGE code AN876). At the end of each course students are awarded with internationally recognised European Paratroopers Airborne School qualifications (badges and diplomas).

PARACHUTIST (Static-Line)

Static line military round canopy Parachuting certification.

After have successfully completed the Basic Airborne Course (BAC) and have performed the three (3) qualification jumps, students will earn their static line round canopy parachuting certification (diploma & legitimation) and qualification badge. The BAC course qualifies you as a parachutist and you will be ready to take part in the jump activities with current operational military round canopy parachute systems. In order to keep your certification current, you must meet EPA requirements. This will require you to jump on a regular basis. A minimum of of 1 jump per 12 months is required to remain current. If a member is not able to remain current, a refresher course is sufficient to remain a current jump status. It is recommended to jump regularly, in doing so the jumper will gain confidence and get more familiar with the parachute equipment.

 

PARACHUTE RIGGER

Static line military round canopy Parachute Rigger certification.

After have successfully completed the Parachute Rigger Course (PRC) students will earn their static line round canopy parachute rigger certification (diploma & legitimation) and qualification badge. The RCP course qualifies you as a rigger and you will be ready to pack current operational military round canopy parachute systems at EPA Airborne School as well as to support the EPA airborne operations. In order to keep your certification current, you must meet EPA requirements. This will require you to pack on a regular basis. A minimum of of 20 parachute packing per 12 months is required to remain current. If a member is not able to remain current, a refresher course is required. It is recommended to pack regularly, in doing so the rigger will gain confidence and get more familiar with the packing procedures.

 

AIRBORNE INSTRUCTOR

Static line military round canopy Parachute Instructor certification.

After have successfully completed the Airborne Instructor Course (AIC) students will earn their static line round canopy parachute instructor certification (diploma & legitimation) and qualification badge. The AIC course qualifies you as an instructor and you will be ready to complete basic military round canopy parachute instructional duties at EPA Airborne School as well as to support the EPA airborne operations. In order to keep your certification current, you must meet EPA requirements. This will require you to conduct instructor duties on a regular basis. A minimum of 60 hours of instructional duties per 12 months is required to remain current. If a member is not able to remain current, a refresher course is required. It is recommended to instruct regularly, in doing so the instructor will gain confidence and get more familiar with the instructional methods.
