The SPARTAN MARCH 2024 took place in South Italy, former Magna Graecia or Greater Greece amid the ancient ruins of Poseidonia, on November 30th. Participants coming from NATO and friend Nations had six hours to complete the 25 Km route - carrying a total weight of at least 10 Kg or 20 Kg - through an amazing path surrounded by stately Doric temples, Ancient Greek archaeological marvels, thick pine-wood, Mediterranean scrub and sandy beach. The Spartan Medals was awarded to all soldiers who successfully completed the march, and amazing prizes, figured a Spartan helm, was awarded to first 3 soldiers who completed the march. On Sunday 1st December participants had the amazing opportunity to visit the wonderful Paestum archeological museum and archeological site.
