Congratulations to our President LTC Giulio Festa and to our members MAJ Edyta Wilowska, CPT Emilio Buffardi and SGT Michele Gottardi who recently earned the Militære Marsjmerke Badge (Norwegian Military March Badge). On Monday October 27, 2014 the team of the European Paratroopers Association took part in the Det Militære Marsjmerket, the Norwegian Armed Forces March organized by the Norwegian Royal Military Academy in Oslo, Norway. All the EPA team's members completed the march in a timely and were awarded with the prestigious Norwegian Military March Badge. The Military March Badge (Det Militære Marsjmerket) was instituted in 1915 and is a military skill badge for marching with pack and weapon. The military march encompasses 30 km displacement (march/run) with pack and weapons (11 kg) in 4,35 hours.
