BALKAN FRIENDSHIP

European Paratroopers delegation took part in the Balkan Friendship Jump 2023, which was taking place in Belgrade on on May 19-21. The event is organised by Veteran Parachute Club of the 63rd Parachuting Brigade “Arhistratig” and the Aeronautical Union of Serbia with the support of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Interior, Mission of the Republic of Srpska in Belgrade and parachute clubs “Feniks” and “Delta”. The Balkan Friendship Jump has been held since 1993 when it was organised for the first time.

The EPA delegation was headed by Staff member of the EPA Airborne School James Wilson. European Paratroopers President Giulio Festa said "From many years Serbian airborne brothers are jumping at our events, first in Slovakia and now in Bulgaria, this time our partecipation to their event organized Serbia was very important, especially considering the situation that is happening in Ukraine.
