Dear Comrades and Friends, On behalf of the Board of Directors and myself I would like to wish you all the best in this time of crisis. I hope all of you and your families stay well and safe and we will get together on our DZ after all this will end. With the COVID-19 global crisis still taking hold on we have taken the decision as of the 15th March to suspend the jump events for 60 days. This is not a decision taken lightly but one that protects both our staff, instructors and you, our members. The 115TH BASIC AIRBORNE COURSE, the 23RD PARACHUTE RIGGER COURSE and the 133RD PARACHUTE JUMP EXERCISE, which was scheduled to run from April 22-26, has been postponed to May 27-31. If you have a booking in this month, we will honour that and move you to May or to another date. However the other events will go on as scheduled, for now, so do not hesitate to register and take part in our upcoming jump events. You can still book dates with us (please check our calendar), as well as purchase online. We will be in contact with all those who have jumps booked and in case the current restrictions will be prolonged we will make sure that you are rescheduled for a brighter and better time. We appreciate your cooperation and will inform you of any further updates as the COVID-19 crisis situation unfolds, so keep your eye on this website and FB page. We will be in communication at all times and we will be ready to start as soon as the current restrictions will be removed. Stay safe everyone and we look forward to blue skies and getting everyone up in the air very soon. Airborne! Giulio Festa President European Paratroopers Association |
