MERIT CROSS

Dear Comrades and Friends,

Today three old comrades and war veterans from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean had been conferred honors for their exceptional support and friendship to the European Paratrooper Association over an extended period of years. EPA President Giulio Festa, said "Conferred with the Airborne Merit Cross, the highest EPA award given to who has distinguished himself within the association, were Maresciallo Maggiore Aiutante Renzo Di Bert, former Italian Army 185th Airborne Artillery Regiment "Folgore", MNF Lebanon veteran, Chief Master Sergeant Michael J. Del Soldato, former US Air Force 152nd Security Forces Squadron, Iraq and Afghanistan combat veteran and Staff Sergeant Kregg Jorgenson, a true war hero who served in Vietnam with Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol (LRRP) part of th 75th Infantry Regiment (Ranger), and later with Apache Troop, the 1st Squadron of the 9th Cavalry". Job well done brothers! AIRBORNE!!!
