FLYING EAGLE 2016

The 911 Para-Commando Special Forces of Cambodian Army invited the European Paratroopers Association to take part in their Operation Cambodia Flying Eagle which took place in Phnom Penh in Cambodia on 13-16 March 2016. Jumpers exit from a Mil Mi-17 (Nato Code Hip-H) helicopter using an MC1-1B static line, steerable, parabolic parchute. Paratroopers will execute a refresh training prior the jumps. Each jumper must complete 2 jumps to be qualified. EPA members will be awarded the Cambodian Army Parachute Badge upon completing the appropriate training and parachute descents. During our stay at the Special Forces Camp will be possible performe the marksmanship test with the Special Forces light weapons. Additional SCUBA diving training will also possible to earn the Cambodia military SCUBA badge (with additional cost due to the extra logistics and distance travel to the sea.)
