Airborne Veterans For Children In Need.Lviv, Ukraine - We are pleased to inform you that last week we successfully delivered the Toy Drop Project humanitarian aid to the orphanage in Lviv. On Friday, December 17th, we was invited to attend the children's Saint Nicholas Day pageant at Orphanage no.1 in Lviv, Ukraine. On that occasion our Operational Detachment delivered 6 boxes of clothing and shoes that included suits, jackets, pants, shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts, baby rompers, t-shirts, pajamas and winter shoes, as well as toys."We are grateful to the Orphanage Director, Dr. Halyna Petrivna for inviting us to the children's Saint Nicholas pageant and to giving us the opportunity to visit the orphanage" said Col. Giulio Festa, the European Paratroopers President "We are proud and glad to have collected and delivered not only toys but also a big stock of of clothing and shoes, this has been made possible thanks to the generosity of our members and friends who donated to our Christmas Charity Project" continued President Festa. The TOY DROP Christmas Charity Project is the European Paratroopers charitable-donation incentive program for paratroopers and veterans on base to raise money for needy children on Christmas Holiday, it is conducted in conjunction with OPERATION TOY DROP the charity parachute jump event modeled after the traditional US Army paratroopers Christmas event hosted every December in Fort Bragg.We want to thanks each and everyone of you who have generously contributed to our campaign. As always we appreciate your support. A special thanks goes to Alessandro Salvi Knight of Magistral Grace from the Sovereign Military Order of Malta who bought and donated 22 pairs of shoes from Primigi S.p.A. one of the best european brands for kids shoes.
