European Paratroopers BAC “PVT Martin Bell”.The 121th EPA Basic Airborne Course was successfully held at the Ukrainian Army Sport Complex in Lviv, Ukraine from 21 to 25 July. The Course was named in memory of Private Martin Bell, the British paratrooper killed in Afghanistan ten years ago trying to rescue a seriously injured comrade hurt by an improvised explosive device (IED). During the course the airborne students have learned the principles of the airborne tactics and techniques, and how to conduct parachute jump operations with military static line round canopy parachutes in accordance with NATO standards.
