EPA's MTC Combat Diver Course.On 23-26 May 2016 the EPA’s Military Training Center conducted in Italy the 1st COMBAT DIVER COURSE 2016. Our students coming from Italy, France, United Kingdom, Germany and Brazil have completed a grueling four day course of instruction in the special operations combat diver tactics and techniques...The course started with classroom instruction and basic SCUBA orientation in the pool. In addition to the classroom instruction and pool work, the students have conducted long-distance surface swims as well as open-circuit equipment sub-surface swims. The sub-surface swims was timed compass swims. The students was also trained in other areas to include underwater searches, cast and recovery, deep dive, infiltration techniques, waterproofing and bundle rigging. The students excelled and all graduated with their Combat Diver certifications and pins. We are proud of their accomplishments, we are sure their military units are well. Great job!
