LEARN MORE
The European Paratroopers 2ND OPERATION TOY DROP will be held in January instead of December, because of the governments imposed lockdowns, restrictions on people's movements and limitation of freedom of travel.
The European Paratroopers OPERATION TOY DROP is a charity parachute jump event modeled after the traditional US Army paratroopers Christmas event hosted every December in Fort Bragg. The event is the most noble airborne operation in the world, and it serves a dual purpose: providing training for paratroopers and servicing needy children. The aim of this operation is to fundraise for Orphan Children coming from war-torn eastern Ukraine on Christmas Holiday and to give our members the exciting opportunity to earn a set of foreign airborne wings. This is the main focus and heart of European Paratroopers’s Operation Toy Drop, a charitable-donation incentive program for paratroopers and veterans on base to donate money for the program, receive a ticket to be entered for the parachute jump exercise and to earn their jump wings with an international jump master, and give back to those who need it the most in the spirit of giving. For a parachutist, the chance to earn your foreign airborne wings is truly a special honor, regardless of it being your first time or being a seasoned pro. During this operation you will receive a pre-jump training briefing in accordance to military standards by highly qualified airborne instructors and jump masters - with years of verifiable real-world experience - coming from NATO and friend countries' Airborne Forces. You will not only performe parachute static line descents out fixed-wings and/or rotary-wings aircraft, with current operational military round canopy parachute systems, but more importantly – you will help children in need to receive toys, chocolates, sweets as well as clothing, bedding sets, diapers, medicine, medical supplies and other equipment, for the Christmas Holidays conducting an amazing international airborne operation with foreign jumpmasters!
Please note that if you're not able to join us, you can still support our Christmas charity event with a donation to our Operational Detachment and get your Operation Toy Drop T-Shirt or earn your EPA Merit Cross (Contact us for details).
NOTE: This event is open only to our members. You must be a current member of European Paratroopers Association - i.e. have paid your annual EPA membership fees 2021.
If you have not yet paid your annual EPA membership fee click the “Apply Online” button.
Once you have performed the required jumps, you will be awarded with European (EPA) Parachutist Wings. If eligible, after you have performed the required jumps, as true wings exchange you may be awarded with different Airborne Wings (official parachutist badges with respective certificates) by the host Unit’s responsible Training Officers. Jumpmasters from many nations like the USA, Italy and Ukraine and more nations may join to award their national wings. The airborne qualified members, interested to earn a set of foreign jump wings have to contact us for details.
NOTE: During this event the foreign Airborne Wings listed below will be awarded:
