LEARN MOREThe main role of the National Representative is to represent the European Paratroopers Association (EPA) members of their country at the EPA's Board of Directors. This role has to be accompanied by active participation in the EPA’s activities throughout the year. The National Representatives are supervised by the National Representatives Coordinator a member of the Executive Committee whose job is to organize events and activities with others in order to ensure they work together effectively. In close collaboration with the National Representatives Coordinator, each country's National Representatives relay the EPA's information to members of that country. So, they actively participate in spreading information about the EPA and its missions to all paratroopers and military parachutists within the airborne community in their country. The National Representatives carry the voice of their national airborne community to the EPA's Board of Directors. In strict liaison with the Board of Directors and with the help of the EPA's President and the National Representatives Coordinator, the National Representative may also be asked to represent EPA at different meetings or national events, so as to favour exchange and dialogue between the different military organizations and actively participate with them in the development of the military parachuting. The National Representatives will be the strength of a proposal put to the Board of Directors to strengthen relations with the airborne community in their country, in particular by actively favouring any form of collaborative or partnership actions with their country's National Airborne Forces. To accomplish this mission, the National Representative must understand and approve the ethical charter and the EPA's objectives. They must also have a thorough knowledge of the EPA's policy and all its missions. This knowledge is gained from the EPA's Board of Directors, and Staff, through the EPA website, social media, informative letters, exchange of emails or phone calls or through video conferences.s.
