The European Paratroopers Association have establish and made his own specifics Awards & Badges:

Parachutist Badge

The EPA Parachutist Badge, also commonly referred to as "European Wings", is the official airborne badge of the European Paratroopers Association awarded to members of the Association. Establish on 21 August 2004 represents a light blue wings with a white parachute in the center, which is surrounded on the base by twelve yellow stars, embroidered on a piece of cloth. It is worn on the right sleeve of the jump uniform, as well as on the right sleeve of the working or dress uniform. The EPA Parachutist Badge is issued in four levels: Beginner (No Class), Basic (III Class), Senior (II Class) and Master (I Class) Parachutist.

 EPA PARACHUTST WINGS    

All the members of the European Paratroopers Association can earn the European Wings after have successfully completed the Basic Airborne Course (BAC) and have completing the required number of jumps. Every parachutist needs to complete:

 

- 3 (three) jumps, in order to be awarded the EPA parachutist wings (No Class);

- 6 (six) jumps* in order to be awarded the EPA parachutist wings (III Class);

- 25 (twoentyfive) jumps** in order to be awarded the EPA parachutist wings (II Class);

- 50 (fifty) jumps*** in order to be awarded the EPA parachutist wings (I Class).

 

*These jumps must include two jumps with full equipment. **These jumps must include three jumps with full equipment and a night jump. ***These jumps must include five jumps with full equipment, two night jumps, and a wather jump.

 

Parachute Rigger Badge

The EPA Parachute Rigger Badge, also commonly referred to as "Rigger Wings", is the official rigger badge of the European Paratroopers Association awarded to members of the Association. Establish on 17 January 2011 represents a white wings with a white parachute and a yellow rigger tab in the center, which is surrounded on the base by twelve yellow stars, embroidered on a piece of cloth. It is worn on the right sleeve of the jump uniform, as well as on the right sleeve of the working or dress uniform.

 EPA RIGGER PATCH    

All the members of the European Paratroopers Association can earn the Rigger Wings after have successfully completed the Parachute Rigger Course (PRC) and have packed a minimum of 10 main parachutes.
